Parties to this Class Action have agreed to a Settlement. Class Counsel and Plaintiffs have concluded that the Settlement, described below is fair, adequate, reasonable, and in the best interest of the Settlement Class.

The Court has certified the following Class for Settlement purposes only:
All individuals and entities in the United States who own, or have owned, for their own use and not for resale, a Dell Inspiron 5150 notebook computer (the "Settlement Class").

The Court did not determine the merits of Plaintiff's claims or Dell's defenses.

The Court held a hearing on December 4, 2006, at 9:00 a.m., in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, located at 280 South 1st Street, San Jose, California 95113. The Court, in an order dated December 4, 2006, approved the Settlement as fair, reasonable, and adequate, and entered judgment thereon. The Court also approved the request of Class Counsel for an award of attorneys' fees and reimbursement of expenses. The Court further approved the request of Class Counsel for a stipend paid to the two Representative Plaintiffs, in the amount of $750 each, for the services rendered in this litigation, over and above other remedies included in the Settlement.

Please note that the deadlines for objecting to, or excluding yourself from, the Settlement have now passed.

If you wish to submit a claim for a Reimbursable Repair, you must submit your claim, on-line or by mail prior to April 2, 2007.
